Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare which recognizes the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Osteopaths believe in the body’s power to self heal, self maintain, and self regulate; we aim to remove the barriers the barriers that resist this healing process.

Questions are encouraged, we want you leave with a good understanding of your ailment, how to fix it and take care of it.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is defined as the manual manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (muscle, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments) to enhance overall health and well being. It has been recognized as one of the oldest methods of healing, with references in medical texts nearly 4000 years old. Massage therapy refers to the application of various techniques to the muscular structure and soft tissues that include applying a fixed or movable pressure, vibration, rocking, joint mobilizations, frictions, kneading and compressions to name a few. All of the techniques used are for the benefit of the musculoskeletal, circulatory-lymphatic, nervous, and other systems of the body primarily using the hands, although massage therapists will also use other areas of the body, such as their forearms and elbows.
Naturopathy
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of disease. Symptoms of disease are seen as warning signals of improper functioning of the body, and unfavourable lifestyle habits. Naturopathic Medicine emphasizes disease as a process rather than as an entity.
Treating both acute and chronic conditions, naturopathic treatments are chosen based on the individual patient – their physiological, structural, psychological, social, spiritual, environment and lifestyle factors. In addition to diet and lifestyle changes, natural therapies including botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, naturopathic manipulation and traditional Chinese medicine/acupuncture, may also be used during treatments.
Nutritional Counselling
We take an individual approach. Each person is unique, and we treat everyone according to your own specific needs. We help clients suffering from health issues by looking for the root cause of symptoms. How symptoms develop and how a person heals is unique to each individual. After assessing nutritional imbalances and weaknesses, we work together with you to create a sustainable plan.
We do this by focusing on the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Your state of mind and spiritual wellbeing affect your physical health, so we help you create a balanced lifestyle. We determine all the nutritional and lifestyle needs of each client including referring you to other health care professionals if deemed appropriate.
